POSTCARDS FROM CESKY KRUMLOV

When I decided to backpack on my own through Europe last summer, I had one thing in mind: to explore the road less traveled. Don't get me wrong, I love capitals and truly believe they have so much to offer but I was looking for something different, and trying to live the philosophy of 'going local'. So while planning my trip I chose some small cities to visit and also made sure that I left 'unplanned' space in case something fun happened along the way.
Cesky Krumlov is a medieval town with so much history and beuaty, it is the south of Czech Republic - a region called Bohemian. It's very small so you can walk all day long and everywhere. With castles, medieval buildings and urban legends, not to mention the beautiful river that crosses the town - where you can go for a swim or maybe do some rafting! Such a lovely summer destination, and Czech Republic is increible cheap and beautiful - who could ask for more ?
